Soft skills:

Top skills
Focused – When undistracted, I can concentrate for long periods of time
Determined – I want to achieve good things
Adaptable – I love to learn new skills
Eager – This ties in with impatience, but this is a good thing as I push things forward, and keep things moving
Quick learner – I can pick up skills/learn software fast
Multi-tasking – I am nearly always juggling multiple things and that’s down to impatience too, wanting to get ahead
Organised – I love to be organised (so much so that I find organising calming)
Independent – Not afraid to be the “odd one out” and think differently, alongside being very content with my own company
Process improvement – Always looking for more efficient processes and how to make things easier/smoother
Honest – Reliable and trustworthy in all senses
Perfectionist – Visually attentive to details

Middle weight skills:
Teamwork – I can do it, effectively, but I prefer to have complete ownership and responsibility over tasks
Patience – I have learnt to be patient with things that take time/complications that occur and as professionally work around it

Low skills
Introverted – I’m quiet, keep myself to myself – however, I’m observant of my surroundings and I pay attention to small details
Over-thinker – Things can feel complicated as I’m not a hasty decision maker. However this makes me a good analyst and thoughtful
Associality – I prefer to be by myself however this could be a strength as I’m focused and dedicated to things I am passionate about
Easily distracted – I have to be in the right frame of mind to be focused, but when I am focused I get the job done

design skills:

Adobe Photoshop & Indesign – Predominantly prefer Photoshop as a photographer but use both for various projects
Procreate – Digitally use for on-the-go, i.e. work lunchtimes and evening down-time
Branding – Passionate about re-designing branding and brand transformation
Sustainable design – This is my favourite to design
Attention to detail – Understanding the finer details of projects
Aesthetics – Visually able to make things creatively aesthetically pleasing
Creativity – Creative mind and approach
Hand craft – Enjoy traditional methods of art and craft
Multi specialisms – Mixed media projects are the most exciting
Digital – Adaptation to technology
Researching – Really necessary and important process during projects
Etching – Lithography used during uni but would love to experiment further with different print techniques
Illustration – I’m still learning digital and want to explore that area
Screen-printing – Had a lot of practice in uni but never perfected foiling
Letterpress – Had a lot of experience in uni but never worked large scale
Photography – Enjoy visually exploring for research and enhancing ideas
Packaging – I want to create branded packaging not just mock-ups

skills i want:

Typography – Use and combine typography effectively, and quickly
Hierarchy – To have knowledge of what works where in a layout
Coding – Expand my expertise in HTML/CSS
CAD – Would love to learn about 2d and 3d design principles
Marketing – Skills would be extremely useful in 21st century design
UI/UX – User interface design for machines and software

Skills I need:

More Design Experience – To work for a design company/studio and gain hands on experience and knowledge of design processes
Networking – To be able to have customers and clients of my own
