Ideas wall
The ideas wall this week was valuable in terms of my self-development as a designer, and has shown myself to not be afraid to experiment and play with colour. I was instantly drawn to Matt’s work with the heavily dissected typefaces, and it reminded me of non-format’s work that I explored in the references this week. I do find it interesting though that Matt also had a colour theme throughout his editorial. Maybe he was playing safe like I was on my editorial, or maybe the colours we individually chose expressed our chosen categories because they are both radically different colour schemes (aside from the black body text and white background).
