Logo experiments

Mocking up my four logos that I drew on Procreate from sewing apparatus to see what design looks best:

Packaging experiments

I experimented with potentially using three variations of the similar logo, but I don’t think this was as successful as just having the one logo. From all of these experiments I have decided to pick the buttons logo as I think it’s free of connotations (scissors and needles could be triggering or at the very least have suggestions of something dangerous). Plus, I think I could have fun with a button scheme in my identity. I experimented with composition on the packaging clothes tags and I decided to pick a rotated logo.

Further development

As I know Ingrid’s brief only wanted an easier online shopping experience, I have created those mockups of the website and ensured I prioritised the returns policy and communicated this as much as I could. However there are further ways I want to push this as I think this brief has a lot of fun potential. One of these introducing a second hand physical store, with a textiles workshop at the back, and using packaging to promote the store in-store and online.
