I began using a circle as a starting point for the contents page. I knew I loved the formation of the contents in a circular layout, and was experimenting with the best way to do that. This was before I added any colour.

  • Figuring out how to arrange the timeline in the first spread of week 2
  • Trying to position the links to the websites correctly and figuring out how to link the map in week 2
  • Continued experiments for week 2 second spread
  • Another experiment for week 2 second spread
  • Another development for week 2 second spread before I realised it wasn’t working that way
  • Contents with added colour – I realised I liked the text better when stroke wasn’t making the lines thicker
  • Figuring out which card pictures I actually needed in week 8
  • Thinking about text placement for the symbol explanations in week 8
  • Altering the layout for week 1
  • I wanted the first page (week 1) to be a lot more spacious and enhance the circular theme
